Our Story

Koinonia Makers Market, founded in April 2024, is a faith-based retail destination that brings together the best of local artistry with Christian values. As the founder, I envisioned creating a space where community members could come together, support local talent, and shop for unique, meaningful items that carry a deeper purpose. This marketplace was born from my passion for celebrating creativity and faith, offering a welcoming environment where every item tells a story. We're currently the only faith-based shop in our area. Our primary goal is to showcase the talents of local artists and artisans, giving them a platform to share their beautiful creations with the world. We're made up of 80 different vendors, artisans, and local authors, combining 80 small businesses under one roof.

From eclectic Christian merchandise to locally made jewelry, home décor, candles, books, and much more, we pride ourselves on providing items you won’t find anywhere else. Each product is carefully chosen to ensure it carries a meaningful connection to the values we hold dear. At Koinonia Makers Market, we are committed to giving back and supporting our community. Every month, a portion of every purchase goes to our featured Non-Profit of the Month. We serve 12 different organizations throughout the year, with 80% of sales going to the vendor, 15% to cover our bills, and the rest to our non-profit organization. Depending on sales, we're able to donate between $500-$1100 a month to our Non-Profit organization of the month. We're thrilled to be able to do this month over month for those who need it. We're always looking for new organizations to support, so feel free to stop in and inquire about our Non-Profit of the month or any suggestions or recommendations you may have!
